Why download your daycare photos now
Your daycare has probably shared hundreds, maybe thousands, of photos of your child through an app like Procare or Famly. First finger-paintings, playground grins, the nap where they konked out mid-snack. Then one day your child ages up or you switch centers, the login stops working, and all of it is gone.
The center is not keeping a copy for you. Most daycare apps let you save photos only one at a time, which is hopeless when there are thousands. This guide shows the fast way to save the whole library at full quality, before you lose access.
Downloading photos from Procare
Procare (also shown as Procare Connect, and formerly Kinderlime) is the most common daycare app in the US. On the web, open your child's Photos page in the dashboard. Procare only offers a hover-and-click download on each photo individually.
To save them all at once, install the NurseryDownloader Chrome extension, open your child's Photos page, and click Download all photos & videos. It collects every photo and video for that child and saves them to your computer at full resolution, neatly organized into month-by-month folders. Your first 20 downloads are free.
Downloading photos from Famly
Famly is used by daycares in the US as well as Europe. Open your Famly feed or your child's profile, and the extension adds a one-click download that saves the whole photo history, plus a spreadsheet of dates and captions so each photo keeps its story.
Downloading photos from KinderCare and Lillio (HiMama)
KinderCare's parent app runs on Lillio (formerly HiMama), and both work the same way. Sign in at classroom.kindercare.com (KinderCare) or app.lillio.com (Lillio/HiMama), then click Download all photos & videos in the panel. The extension saves every photo and video from your child's Journal, for every child on your account, in one go.
