Can You Download All Your Brightwheel Photos at Once?
If your child's daycare uses Brightwheel, you've probably built up months — maybe years — of photos in the app. And if you're asking whether you can download them all at once, you've likely discovered the frustrating answer: as of writing, Brightwheel doesn't give parents a one-click way to bulk-download everything. You can save photos, but it's one at a time.
That matters more than it seems, because when your child moves on, your access usually goes with them — and the photos too.
What you can do today
1. Save photos one at a time
Open a photo in the Brightwheel app or on the web, and use the save/download option to store it on your device. It works, but for hundreds of photos it's an afternoon (or several) of tapping.
2. Ask your daycare for the originals
Brightwheel gives schools and administrators more export options than parents get. Before your child's last day, ask the director whether they can share your child's photos with you directly — many are happy to help if you ask early.
3. Don't wait until access is gone
Whatever route you take, do it before your child leaves. Once the school deactivates your child's profile, there's usually no way back to those photos — the school isn't keeping an album for you.
