How NurseryDownloader works
- 1Install the free extension in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (it doesn't run on phones or tablets).
- 2Sign in to your nursery or daycare app and open the page where your child's photos appear.
- 3Click Download in the NurseryDownloader panel. Everything saves to your computer at full quality, in tidy month-by-month folders, and your photos never pass through our servers.

The most common fix
If Chrome asks where to save every file
Copy, don’t click. Chrome will not open its own settings pages from a link. Copy each address below, paste it into Chrome’s address bar and press Enter.

chrome://settings/downloadsand turn off the switch that asks where to save every download. In English Chrome it reads “Ask where to save each file before downloading”.
That’s it. Your photos and videos now save in one go, straight to your Downloads folder, in tidy dated folders.
Common questions
Do downloads include videos?
Yes, on most apps photos and videos download together. (On Famly, the tagged photos are images only; videos live in the main feed, so use Download All Feed Photos to include them, automatically as .mp4 files.)
How many photos can I download in the free trial?
The trial saves up to 20 photos so you can check everything works. A license unlocks unlimited downloads, enter it in the extension's settings (the cog icon in the panel).
Are my photos private? Where do they go?
Straight from your app to your computer. Your photos never pass through our servers, so we never see them, and unlike many photo download tools, NurseryDownloader never asks for your password: it works in your own browser, where you're already signed in.
It says it couldn't find or collect anything. What now?
First, refresh the page and try again. If it keeps happening, your app may have changed since your version of the extension was released, check for an update in Chrome or Edge, and if you're still stuck, email us below. Reports from parents are how we fix things fastest.
Can I re-download everything from scratch?
Yes, open Advanced → Reset Download History in the panel. The extension forgets what it already saved and the next download starts fresh. (It never deletes files from your computer.)
Is NurseryDownloader free?
The first 20 downloads are free, with no card needed, so you can check it works with your app. After that a license is $24.99 for a year, and it never renews automatically.
Is NurseryDownloader legit and safe?
Yes. It's published on the Chrome Web Store by the owner of this website, and every version is reviewed by Google before it goes live. Your photos go straight from your app to your computer and never pass through our servers.
Does it work on a Mac?
Yes. It works in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a Mac, a Windows PC or a Chromebook. It doesn't work on iPhone, iPad or Android phones.
My child's last day is today. Is there still time?
Yes, if you can get to a computer. Install the extension, sign in to your app and start the download. Keep the tab open until it says it has finished: large galleries can take a while, so start as soon as you can.
