How to Download Your Nursery Photos on Android

No laptop handy? Use the free Kiwi Browser to run NurseryDownloader on your Android phone and save every photo in one click.

NurseryDownloader is a Chrome extension, and Chrome on phones doesn't normally run extensions. But on Android there's a simple way around it: a free browser called Kiwi Browser that can install Chrome extensions on your phone. That means you can save every photo from your nursery app — Famly, ParentZone, Lillio, Procare, KinderCare and more — in one click, straight to your Android phone.

On an iPhone or iPad? There's no browser on iOS that runs Chrome extensions, so this method is Android-only. The quickest route is to use any laptop or desktop for a few minutes — or get a reminder so you don't lose access before you get to one.

Download your nursery photos on an Android phone

Step 1: Install Kiwi Browser

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
  2. Search for Kiwi Browser and install it (it's free).
  3. Open Kiwi Browser once it's installed.

Step 2: Add the NurseryDownloader extension

  1. In Kiwi Browser, go to the NurseryDownloader page on the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Tap Add to Chrome, then confirm with OK / Add extension.
  3. Kiwi installs it just like Chrome on a computer.

Step 3: Open your nursery app and download

  1. In the same Kiwi Browser, go to your nursery app (for example app.famly.co or your ParentZone / Lillio / Procare login) and sign in as normal.
  2. Open the page where your child's photos appear.
  3. The NurseryDownloader panel appears on the page — tap Download.
  4. Your first 20 photos are free; enter your licence key to save the rest.

Where do the photos go?

On Android, the photos save to your phone's Downloads folder (check your Files app, or Downloads in Kiwi's menu). From there you can move them into Google Photos, back them up, or copy them to a computer — they're the original full-quality files, not screenshots.

Tips

  • A computer is still the smoothest experience — bigger screen, and downloads land in a tidy folder. If you can get to a laptop for five minutes, that's the easiest option. If not, Kiwi on Android does the job.
  • Do it before you leave. Once your child moves on, most nursery apps switch off your login and the photos go with it — so save them while you still have access.
