NurseryDownloader is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every parent to be able to find, read and use everything here, whatever device or assistive technology they browse with.
Conformance status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the internationally recognised standard for accessible websites and are the benchmark referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We test our pages against these standards and fix issues as we find them.
What we have done
- Audited the site with automated accessibility tooling and resolved the issues found.
- Checked that text meets the minimum colour-contrast ratios.
- Added a "skip to content" link and clear, visible keyboard focus.
- Labelled form fields and made interactive controls operable by keyboard.
- Used proper headings, landmarks and alternative text so screen readers can navigate each page.
- Respected the "reduce motion" system setting for animations.
Compatibility
This site is built to work with current versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge) and with common assistive technologies such as screen readers. It works with browser zoom and does not require a mouse.
