Version 1.11 (rolling out now)

  • KinderCare & Lillio (HiMama) support. NurseryDownloader now works with the KinderCare parent app and Lillio (formerly HiMama). Sign in, click once, and download every photo and video for all of your children.

Version 1.9

  • Procare support. NurseryDownloader now works with Procare (Procare Connect), one of the most widely used daycare apps in the US. Open your child's Photos page and download every photo and video in one click, at full quality, organized into folders.

Version 1.8

  • Choose your folders. By popular request: tick "Save everything into one folder" under Advanced and photos skip the month-by-month subfolders. Filenames still start with the photo's date, so everything stays in order.

Version 1.7

A polish release focused on knowing where you stand.

  • Clearer free trial. When your 20 free downloads are used, the panel tells you straight away instead of part-way through a download, and the counter updates live as you go.
  • Smarter progress. Fixed a bug where the progress bar could stop one photo short of 100% at the end of a trial run.
  • Faster fixes when nursery apps change. If Famly or ParentZone change their website and downloads stop working, the extension now lets us know anonymously, so we can usually ship a fix before most parents ever notice. No personal data and no photos are ever included.

Version 1.6

The biggest feature release yet.

  • Organised folders. Photos now save into Nursery Downloader/[child or Feed]/[month]/ inside your Downloads folder, instead of one giant pile. Filenames start with the date the photo was posted, so everything sorts in order.
  • Full-quality originals. Downloads are now the resolution your nursery uploaded, which is often more than double what was saved before.
  • Captions spreadsheet. Feed downloads include a photo-captions.csv with the date, caption and filenames for every post, so each photo keeps its story.
  • Date range filter. Download just a term, a year, or everything since your last backup.
  • Backup your download history. Export it as a file and import it on a new computer, and nothing downloads twice.
  • Cancel button. Stop a big batch at any time; everything already saved stays saved.
  • A much better help guide. Step-by-step instructions for Famly and ParentZone, a tour of the panel, and a support email that fills in the technical details for you.

Version 1.5

  • Famly compatibility fixes. Famly updated their website in July 2026; this release restored photo collection, per-post download buttons, and the links to each child's tagged photos.

Version 1.4

  • ParentZone compatibility fixes. ParentZone rebuilt their photo gallery; this release restored gallery downloads by reading their new photo system directly.

Version 1.3

  • Famly feed fixes. Restored the "Download All Feed Photos" flow after a Famly redesign changed their feed layout.

Version 1.2

  • Progress bars and download tracking. See exactly how a big download is going, get a summary at the end, and never download the same photo twice.
  • Friendlier messages throughout, written for parents rather than programmers.

Earlier versions

Versions 1.0 and 1.1 introduced the essentials: one-click download of your Famly feed or ParentZone gallery, tagged-photo downloads for each child, video downloads from the Famly feed, and the free 20-photo trial.
